"Vent Sim: Ventilator Alarms" is a mechanical ventilator training tool for healthcare professionals. On screens modeled after real cases, you can practice operating a ventilator and reading its waveforms.

Q. The screen turns off (dims/locks) partway through

A. The App is configured so the screen does not turn off automatically while it is in use. If you are using the web version and the screen turns off, disable Auto-Lock on your iPad under Settings → Display & Brightness → Auto-Lock.

Q. Does it behave exactly like a real ventilator?

A. No. The App is a simplified educational model and does not reproduce the behavior of any specific ventilator model. Always follow each model's own instructions for use and your facility's protocols when operating actual equipment.

Q. Where is my data stored?

A. It isn't. Your case selection and settings are discarded when you close the App. The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. See the Privacy Policy for details.
